AEROSPACE MACHINING

STI has considerable experience in machining hardware for the aerospace industry. We have manufactured numerous tactical missile cases, a variety of parts for the space shuttle main engine and various aircraft parts. A number of thin wall fuel tanks have been manufactured for the space shuttle and various satellites. We have worked extensively with many different materials including Inconel (600, 718, x750, 906), high strength steels (D6ac, 300m, 4340, 8620, 52100), titanium (6AL4V), aluminum (6061, 7075, 2024), and stainless steels (303, 304, 316, 321, 410).
